Training AICC 2022

In October and November 2022, the AICC conducted a two-week training course at the Center d'Enseignement Professionel (CEP) in Thiés. The participants were the teachers of the CEP, as well as employees and technicians from our Senegalese partner companies Senbus from Thiès and SIDIO Group from Djourbel. Under the direction of the vocational educator in metal construction, Joachim Bertschinger, the participants were trained in the use of the tools and welding equipment provided by the AICC. Pedagogy, occupational safety and workshop management were also important contents of the training. In addition to theory, these skills could be immediately put into practice when building a People Powered Pump (PePoPu).
